Following allegations from two former employees said to be Thomas McArtor and Keith Ramsey, Rolls-Royce denied that it “cut corners on quality control requirements” and “lied to customers”, in an ongoing lawsuit, in which the two employees concerned are challenging a court order preventing them from releasing information which they claim shows wrongdoing on the part of the motor company.

Allegations include the claim that Rolls-Royce “routinely used defective parts designated as scrap only”. – Rolls-Royce has hit back at the allegations, describing the lawsuit as “without merit”.
In a statement issued by the company Rolls-Royce placed emphasis on the fact that a US District Judge, Judge William T. Lawrence has already thrown tow of the four claims made by the former employees concerned, saying: “Judge Lawrence did not find that Rolls-Royce engaged in any wrongdoing, failed to follow its quality system, concealed anything from the US government or even that a jury is entitled to hear the allegations.”
“Rolls-Royce categorically rejects the other claims and will defend itself vigorously. Any and all facts of the case will be presented in court, where we are confident it will be found the lawsuit is without merit.”
One of the more astounding allegations includes the claim that Rolls-Royce had concealed and collated alleged defects in a “secret set of books”.
The case continues.
