37-year-old Black rapper “50 Cents”, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was charged with one count of ‘domestic violence’ and four counts of ‘vandalism in paper’ last Monday, after allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend while trashing her condo.

So far both Jackson and his lawyers have declined to comment, but LA police say that the star began destroying his ex-girlfriend’s property before attacking, causing her to lock herself into her own bedroom the door to which Jackson then kicked down before assaulting her, inflicting on her severe injuries.
Police claim that an estimated US$7,100 worth of damage was inflicted on the woman’s property during Jackson’s alleged rampage through her Los Angeles home.
Jackson who is famous for his crazed, “In da Club” brand of Black rap songs which glorify drugs and crime, is due for arraignment on June 22nd. If convicted, he faces up to five years in jail and fines of up to US$46,000.
Jackson once starred in his own autobiographical documentary focused on his life as a drug dealer, called “Get Rich or Die Tryin.”
